P&R Sheetmetal was founded by Roy Martin Shotton (1944-99) in 1977.
P&R Sheetmetal quickly gained a reputation for precision and quality.
Since then P&R has acquired equipment and designed processes to ensure that the company continues to build on this reputation.
P&R has the ability to produce high volume production runs, while maintaining a level of quality that is second to none.
Reflecting the world class standard of its work, P&R Sheetmetal was certified with a ISO 9001 rating in 2001.
We are continually looking for ways to improve our business, including regularly investing in the latest available technology.
Today P&R Sheetmetal is one of several divisions that form the Shotton Group.
These divisions include:
ParMED, which manufactures and sells mortuary and laboratory equipment
Shotton Lifts, which manufactures and sells residental, commerical and disabled access lifts
Located in Melbourne, we pride ourselves on offering an unmatched level of support from concept to production.
A significant amount of our employees have been with the company for many years. In fact three out of the ten staff members from 1977 still work for the company today, over 30 years later.
We believe this clearly reflects P&R's commitment to provide a workplace that is as pleasant as it is productive to work in. In turn we believe this is shown in the quality of the parts we produce.
